i have already shared with Patrick the difficulties i have putting into practice some of the suggestions of the DD. Promise, not due to laziness or unwillingness but due to constraints of household logistics. However I have adapted. When i wake, which is usually between 4-5am, instead of trying and trying to get back to sleep, which is actually counter productive and quite stressful, I am going with it, I am breathing and thinking and planning. i am thinking of the pots to drop, the things to confront and do ( acorn jobs) and although I can’t actually get up then ( complicated....if i get up 3 dogs and 3 cats get up....), so i cant immediately make my bed or splash my face ( do that once the menagerie have been sorted), i am actually doing something..and i do think it is helping.

great stuff Carmel. well done on doing a solution that works for you.
I think that's brilliant Carmel, doing your new morning practices in bed when you wake without disturbing the dogs and cats is a great idea. I've done this a few times in places where I couldn't get up...the result of having chosen to set in motion positive actions is still in place and I've found it still works. I'm sure there will be others who see this soon that will know where you're coming from and will share their experiences and tips too. I think you're doing great!!
